Sheridans

Shefford is a small market town approximately 45 miles north of London. The town has a population of approximately 7000 people and has considerably grown and developed over recent years. There is a good selection of local schools covering all ages within the town and also a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a large modern Health Centre and Library in the town as well as sporting facilities.

There is a very large selection of attractive villages in both North Herts and Mid Beds within easy access of Shefford.

The town was by passed some years ago and is located on the A600 midway between Hitchin in Herts and Bedford being the County town of Bedfordshire. It also straddles the A507 being a major east/west route between the M1 and the A1(M) and East coast ports.

There is easy access to main line railway stations at Arlesey - 10 minutes drive, Hitchin - 20 minutes drive, Flitwick - 20 minutes drive, giving excellent commuter services into London.

The more major towns of Luton, Milton Keynes and Stevenage are all within a half hour journey time.
